Job Description:
Perform a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to watering, feeding, pruning, and other duties as assigned by Plant Manager Operate equipment such as pruners, trimmers, mowers, and edgers to safely and efficiently maintain the plant nursery Maintain the equipment in good working order by properly maintaining the tools and their associated equipment; maintaining work area; cleaning tools; following procedures; reporting any issues; replacing broken parts; cleaning tools in the shop when necessary Work cooperatively with Plant Manager and other staff at the plant nursery to maintain a safe and productive work environment Assist Plant Manager with other duties as assigned Skills:
Proven working experience in Horticultural or Gardening preferred but not required Ability to use basic tools and equipment including mowers, edgers, trimmers, pruners, etc.
Ability to stand for long periods of time Knowledge of plant care practices and procedures Problem-solving ability Strong work ethic Job Types:
